U.S. Women take Gold Medal dramatically over Japan!!

Carli Lloyd scored both U.S. goals, gk Hope Solo provided the timely saves as the U.S. Women avenged their World Cup Final loss to Japan to win the Gold Medal today at famed Wembley Stadium in London in front of a packed crowd.

The U.S. women now have won their third straight Gold Medal at the Olympic games.

They proved dramatic in their semi-final win over Canada and have once again brought real drama to women’s soccer!

They will tour, they will add additional dates so lets hope that U.S. Soccer might just bring the women to Houston for a match on the Gold Medal tour.
