WAYNE ROONEY
Will get the start today against Switzerland in Euro Qualifying. Rooney has been exposed in the media recently for being involved with a prostitute that has drawn huge attention from the crazed English press. Yes, the English press is over the top but one wonders how will this effect the “Three Lions”. Where should the line of personal life and professional life be drawn? Could this have affected Rooney’s play in South Africa as he had this relationship with this woman prior to the World Cup?
Fabio Capello will start Rooney today against Switzerland, is this the correct choice?

Really enjoying Argentina/Spain right now (thank goodness for internet radio). Messi is just so special!!
Also, yahoo! sports has uncovered another US soccer player who has found his way to Estudiantes (after a stint at QPR). It really shows the lack of sophistication in the US development system…..again.

My bad…I did not word that well. It sounds like lots of US born players are playing with Estudiantes. Not true. Just, quite a few US youngsters seem to continue to get away from the US system. Apologies for any misunderstanding.
