BRING ME OPINION!!!!

DYNAMO/FIRE WEDNESDAY
The Dynamo will take on the Chicago Fire on Wednesday from Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Illinois in a one game playoff . If the Dynamo beat the Fire they then will take on Sporting KC whom they took the season series from drawing twice and winning once at BBVA Compass Stadium.
Where do you see the Dynamo headed into the playoffs and can they get past the Fire?
I will give you my thoughts tonight!

DURING the BAYOU CITY BLUES and KICK CANCER SOCCER CAMP event we took in the Chelsea/ManU match with United producing a 3-2 win behind Robin Van Persie.
I want your thoughts on the sending offs to Chelsea who ended up down two men after Ivanivic and Fernando Torres were sent off?

WONDORIFIC
Chris Wondolowski tied the all time goal scoring record for a season with 27 with Roy Lassiter who played at the Tampa Bay Mutiny. Both accomplishments remarkable but one has to consider the degree of difficulty in MLS currently with more organized defenses.
It is an amazing accomplishment and Wondolowski has truly turned into a player that is almost telepathic in knowing where the ball will ultimately be in the penalty area.
A great story in the history of MLS!!!
I remember him coaching youth in Bellaire to supplement his income while a member of the Dynamo.

    Glenn,

First, the Ivanovic sending off was fair in my opinion. He denied the goal scoring opportunity and was rightly sent off. The Torres sending off was an absolute disgrace. Torres is running at full speed and is clipped by Jonny Evans. Warren Barton said it right on FSC after the game. When defenders are getting stuck in like they are, then the forwards have to get out of the way, or risk serious injury. We all know Jonny Evans is a hatchet defender (ask Stuart Holden if you need a refersher) and there is no way that in that kind of moment, Torres dives.

Moments after the Torres sending off, Rooney, who was on a yellow, cynically brings down Hazard and Clattenburg just smiles as he gives a free kick. Unfortunately, the worst part came with the Chicharito goal. Clearly offside and both the official and assistant miss it. It is pretty bad when you are behind the last defender AND the keeper to score a goal.

The whole weekend just left a bad taste in my mouth. From the offside goal Arsenal scored against QPR, the one denied to Liverpool against Everton, the Chelsea debacle, the crap officiating in my youth club games this weekend (the kid was 14 so he had an excuse to be bad) and the even worse officiating in the HFA yesterday, I have given up on officials.

United got off to a great start and looked dominant for the first 25 minutes, but then Chelsea took the game to United and really put them under pressure. Even down a man, I felt Chelsea looked the better side. After the second sending off, I knew it was just a matter of time before we conceded. I just wish it hadn’t had been such a shocking decision to allow it. That is life and we will come out stronger from it. United still trails Chelsea in the table, and that is the important thing.

    Up the Blues!

    Coach H

  2. William says:

The Wondolowski for Cam Weaver trade has to be one the most one sided in MLS history.
Quakes should clean up season’s hardware. Wondo- MVP,Yallop-coach of year, Bernardez-defender of year.
Really glad for Yallop’s success in S.J. after dealing with Beckham drama in Hollywood.
