1) Why do the Seattle Sounders have a woman’s soccer club [The Lady Sounders] and the Dynamo do not ?
2) Who’s interested in seeing the Dynamo battle San Antonion in a scrimmage game ? Perhaps that should have been the opponent this Saturday instead of SMU…
Not sure San Antonio is really assembled at this point.
Dynamo trying to build their Academy but womens team should be a part of the future if thinking big.
Nicknames….I think the stadium should be nicknamed “The Compass;” “The Pit,” in reference to BBQ; “The East Ender;” or maybe “The Chapel” in reference to being home to so many mega-churches and famously large stadiums. The East stand should be called “The Skyline Stand,” because there will be a great view of the downtown skyline, I presume. The South stand should be called “The Galveston Stand,” as Galveston is to the south on 45 and has an impressive soccer history and played a significant role in establishing Houston. The West stand should be “The Wild West Stand.” The North stand should be called “Founder’s End,”in honor of the founders of the Dynamo and Houston soccer community at large.

The North Stand should be the Oliver Luck Stand, and just for fun, my picture should be plastered to my seat from this day until the day I day and pass on my season tickets to my great grand-children!
Glenn: Let the spanish connection begin! What do you think of Raul coming here in the future?
