Santos coach uses press to motivate v. Dynamo?/ Podcasts up at espn975.com

From an international perspective the Dynamo win over Santos is historic.

The late game winner grabbed by Brad Davis was set in motion thanks to a poor goal kick from Santos gk Oswaldo Sanchez who quite frankly can’t kick the ball over the halfway line anymore.

Santos becomes another Mexican League team that falls to the sword of the Dynamo yet lets not forget in the big picture this is only one part of advancing to the next round.

What awaits next Wednesday is a huge trip to Torreon and the Estadio Corona where Santos plays.

The last two MLS teams to visit there (Seattle, Toronto) each conceded six goals.

Post game Santos coach Pedro Caixhina had this to say:

“I don’t want to talk about the return leg, but I believe Houston is going to have a bad time, very bad.”

From what I gather, Santos is known for playing their B team on the away leg and then use their A team at home. Either way, I believe Houston can either get the win or a draw down there and advance. Go Dynamo!

Santos played their regulars in leg 1.

I see something very different with this team. This team is always ready to play and very determined to accomplish alot this year. I Like Our Chances.
