  1. Tinman says:

U do not invite teams to your stadium without working on your turf!
If u want a multi purpose stadium then u need better turf. That does not mean paint or dye to cover up the bad spots
    Go Dynamo

  2. Lantz OCU says:

I hope the Dynamo was in the crowd watching last night. The US women’s team is amazing. Passing, Dribbling, Crosses, Headers, excellent tackles… they have it all. Those girls know exactly where their team mates are and where they will be in the next two seconds. They truly are a world class team. I for one am honored to get to see them in person. That team has got it together. Next Month Dynamo vs USWNT. Maybe they can show the Dynamo a thing or two.

Side note JJ Watt and Kinnear were in the crowd last night. (not together)

  3. c.l. says:

If the Dynamo front office, coaching staff, or players weren’t at last night’s game, watching this game over and over again should be this weeks assignment. Two touch passing, pinpoint crosses, etc. – THAT’s how you play attacking soccer for 85 of 94 minutes. You don’t take your foot off the gas, you don’t let your opponent back in the game. You score a goal, two goals on them, and you keep gunning for more. Khandji in particular, should isolate and watch Heather O’Reilly. Moffatt should watch Carli Lloyd’s control of the midfield. For these gals not training together a whole lot as of late, they put on a clinic last night. Watch Carli’s goal last night after Reilly attacked the wing, and watch how Sydney Leroux got out of the way for her teamate who clearly had a better shot on goal. Unselfish.

THAT was a beautiful game. I’m still looking for a copy of the US vs Canada Olympic game so I can watch it over and over. That game stands out as a Classic. I’ve gotten to the point where I’d prefer to watch the USWNT over the USMNT any day of the week.

  4. Jeter says:

Lantz, C.I., and Tinman are funny. Yes, the USWNT are good but they were playing against China who aren’t. If the USA were playing against Brazil or Japan they wouldn’t be doing all that or scoring 4 unanswered goals. Check the girls schedule, they played China 3 times already and will play them again in Florida. They’ve beaten China 4-0, 2-0, and 4-1 so far within the past 30 days. Anyone would look good playing against them.

Abby scored a flying header when she stands 5’11″ over a Chinese defender that’s roughly 5’3″ with cleats. Add in that Morgan is 5’8″, Hope is 5’9″, etc and it looks like the USWNT could’ve been holding the Chinese players hands like they were kids when they walk out onto the pitch.

    I’m just saying

  5. c.l. says:

1995 Womens WCup = China, fourth place. Seven Chinese women on the World All-Star Team.
1999 Women’s WCup = China, second place. One Chinese woman on the World All-Star Team.
2003 Women’s WCup = Seminfinals appearance. One Chinese woman on the World All-Star Team.
    2007 Women’s WCup = Quarterfinal appearance.
    2011 Women’s WCup = did not qualify.

Yes, China’s dominance appears to be on the decline.

USWNT vs Brazil, 04/03/12, 3-0 win.
USWNT vs. Japan, 06/18/12, 4-1 win.
USWNT vs. Japan, 08/09/12, 2-1 win.

Hmmm… looks like we got Brazil and Japan’s number as of late.

China didn’t get to a 17th place [of 131 countries] FIFA ranking by rolling over.

I know who WOULDN’T look good playing against them, Jeter. You and I…

  6. Jeter says:

    C.I. I just warn you, I’m a pretty decent player. :-)
