Pachuca will be missing both Juan Cacho and Paul Aguilar in next Wednesday’s Sept. 30th Concacaf Champions League match.
The duo have been called up by Javier Aguirre to represent Mexico against Colombia at the Cotton Bowl on the same evening.
Both players started in the recent 2-0 win over the Dynamo in Pachuca and Aguilar scored the game’s second goal after turning defender Bobby Boswell and beating Tally Hall.
The rest of the Mexico roster looks like this:
Goalkeepers: Gullermo Ochoa, Jose Corona
Defenders: Jonny Magallon, Jose Castro, Edgar Duenas, Paul Aguilar, Hugo Ayala, Oscar Rojas, Patricio Araujo.
Midfielders: Gerardo Torrado, Jonathan Dos Santos, Braulio Luna, Edgar Pacheco
Forwards: Omar Arellano, Nestor Calderon, Juan Cacho, Javier Hernandez, Enrique Esqueda
A blast from the past including Braulio Luna. Interesting choice of Gio Dos Santos brother 19 year old Jonathan who plays at Barcelona.
So what do you think of this Mexican roster?

Oh man, I am so bummed out! Now they will have an excuse when he beat them at the Rob next Wednesday night!
Paybacks a B@#$%. When we went over there, we were without Holden, Clark, Ashe, and Hainault. Now, we’ll be at full strength and a bye week from MLS play. 2-0 Orange.
What surprised me about this mexico selections is braulio luna. thats the only one that left me stunned.
first thing i thought of when i read this was corey ashe from last nights game…

Pachuca may not win…but Pachuca will end up first in the group….the way i see it….Semis Will be 3 Mexican Teams and Dynamo…and then Pachuca v. Dynamo Final…still won’t lose hope…
ARRIBA TUZOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How wonderful was it to see Eddie Robinson back on the field? And how great did he look!! I thought he had a wonderful game (gift goal aside). Once again winning everything that comes close to him. Seriously, is there a better ball winner in North America? This is a tremendous development for the Dynamo.
Is it just me or does it seemthat cam weaver scores everytime he plays? Haven’t checked stats but it pretty darn seems like it. Ngwenya who?
