Interesting interview with former Tampa Bay Rowdie and Manchester City player Rodney Marsh plus Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear on the 1-0 loss at LA. Lots of great calls as well.
What did you think of this version of Dynamo All Access with Glenn Davis.

hahaha…..dude….REMI is AWESOME!!!!
Glenn- Don’t know how newspaper in Houston treated USMNT run in Confed Cup but here in Las Vegas the usual.
They had decent Sports front page article on final.
Of course they could’nt leave it at that.Next page “Spotlight” article was large op-ed piece lifted fron Orlando Sentinel, title- Maybe we’ll care… someday.
All negative drivel about how soccer is an acquired taste and a niche sport, played by foreigners, Americans don’t really care or understand the game, nary a mention of MLS.
Never could understand why many of these US sports ” journalists” always feel the need to attack and try to belittle soccer.Guess their world revolves around the latest thrilling update on Brett Farve, will he or won’t he come back??? Or is TO really going to be happy in Buffalo??? Or what will ” Manny” the steroid cheat do next???
I lovede the form that the USMNT showed, but I also know that the USMNT will let this 2nd place finish go to their head and come the August 12 Mexico game in EL AZTECA they will lose. I support El Tri, don’t get me wrong I’m a fan of the USMNT but I root harder for El Tri since I am a Mex-Ame. I am so confident in that El Tri will beat the USMNT that I will shave my head bald if they don’t. Considering the fact that I am trying to grow out my hair and have always wanted long hair, this is a bet that really shows my confidence in El TRI. I’ll even record the act in progress if it happens, but I know that it won’t and Mexico will come out victorious come August 12th.
Arriba Los Tuzos De Pachuca!!!!!!
Leo,
Nice bet. Maybe Waibel can deliver the cut and you can chuck a hundred bucks towards his Bald is Beautiful charity?
This might be the year Azteca crowds witness what the US Tri followers witness on a regular basis – a US win! But, I\’m not willing to bet my hair on it.
Glenn,
Loved Rodney….please have him back on as a regular. Love his enthusiasm and viewpoint.
Alright Leo, you’re on the record. We’ll be paying close attention to this.
About the game on Sunday, all of us are proud of the team. Though, I’m a bit miffed that more has not been made of Bob Bradley’s second half substitutions. Obviously, we don’t have the quality of Dani Alves coming off the bench. But we still had Jose Torres and I’m wondering why Sasha Kljestan comes on instead of Torres. And between Kljestan and Torres, I’d rather have Jose on the field. He’s one of the few guys we have who could have held the ball for a little bit of posession and help lighten the pressure on our back line. Getting the ball was tricky enough. But once we had it, we did not have anyone who could hold it (including Kljestan). Torres could have at least done something more with the ball than give it away immediately.
I’m not saying that Jose could have gotten us the winning goal. But when Sasha came onto the field (and I asked out loud: “What is he doing out there?”), I was rather surprised and worried about the rest of the 2nd half. With Jose Torres, there was the chance to change the match and maybe get another counter. There was the potential to change the game (he did it against El Salvador). Obviously, El Salvador is different than Brazil but for once, we could have had another guy who could have made something happen. His experience in Mexico (which may not get as much respect from Bob Bradley as it should) could have served us extremely well. Instead, we send out Sasha and he disappears for the rest of the match.
Overall, I’m very proud of the team. And I’m not saying that Jose Torres would have definately led us to victory. But, I knew that Sasha wouldn’t contribute too much. But it would have been nice to see Jose Torres give this team the best opportunity to win. Unfortunately, Bob Bradley sees it differently.
We learned quite a bit about ourselves in this tournament. John Harkes said after the first Brazil game that we learned a bit about a few guys who should not be on this team going forward. I really believe that Kljestan should be on this list. He, Demarcus, and a couple of others really need to do more for their clubs presently than they do. We shouldn’t live in the past with some of these guys. Hopefully Bob will see that sometime soon.
If the Bald is Beautiful Charity a real charity then sure why not? What is a hundred bucks for charity anyways, right? In fact I’ll remind everybody by instead of signing all my posts here with “Arriba Los Tuzos De Pachuca”, I’ll sign out with “Is Bald Beautiful? Find out August 12″
…My confidence is so outrageous…
Is Bald Beautiful? Find Out August 12
Leo,
Is on record for this one.
