I am afraid that with the quick turn arounds (3 days) teams with less depth will be hurt (Atlante and Toluca). It also should hinder the older players like Blanco. As I’ve said before, Cruz Azul’s depth will help them to the gran final, but I’m so used to them being a bridesmaid I can’t expect them to get it done this time.

Always the recruiter H……Eric, following all leads in MLS is important to find on occasion a loose diamond. Salvadoreans are big Dynamo fans but a player that is good enough that can stir up a certain element of the fan base can never hurt.

Yes, the Cementarios looked awfully good the other night in D.F. I would have hoped Pumas could have held in there on their turf, but it was not to be.

I expect Cruz Azul to get the job done.

Interesting couple of invites to the academy. Could you imagine the impact a player like Mejia could have on the fan base if he works out? I suspect a lot of those wearing blue last wednesday (who don’t otherwise wear orange already when the opponent isn’t LAF) might find themselves joining the ranks of el mundo naranja.
