Hi everyone, this is Chris Gbandi of FC Dallas writing from beautiful but cold Dallas, TX.
I hope everyone is getting in the Holiday spirit and spending time with family and friends.
Monday was a big day for FC Dallas. The fourth head coach in club history was named at Pizza Hut Park. Steve Morrow, our assistant for the past two years was named our new head coach. We as players are happy the process is over and we can now start to look forward to the 2007 season.
I feel as though we have the players here in Dallas that can ultimately bring a Championship to the city.
The fans in Dallas are great and show our team alot of support so we are primed to win a championship for them in 2007.
As for me personally, today was another day doing re-hab. I had minor surgery on my knee about four weeks ago. Recovery is going well so I intend to be fully fit come pre-season.
My days are uneventful right now doing about 4 hours of re-hab daily yet I realize the importance of a disciplined recovery. As a kid growing up I never knew I would be where I am today playing a game I love and getting paid for it. I hope everyone out there is doing what they love and having fun doing it.
I look forward to writing these blogs and until next time enjoy your family, friends, and your football .(a.k.a. soccer the beautiful game.)

Hey Chris!! Glad to hear that you are getting better. Surgery can
), I hope that everything goes well for you next season. Also hope that maybe one day Coach Dom will persuade you to move back down 45 and play for us. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!! Enjoy your time off this winter. You guys in Dallas played pretty well (though I’m dissapointed…I was really lookin forward to playing you guys in Dallas for the Conf. Champ).
be the pits and rehab is even worse (just finished some rehab of my own…ugh). Anywho, glad to know that you are having fun up there. Hope your new coach works out too. While I can’t exactly wish you good luck next season (you understand….it’d be too weird for a Houstonian to wish a player of Dallas luck
Can’t wait to play you guys next season for the cannon! Wish us luck in the CCC (if you can, anyways
)
How can Dallas win a Championship in their 12th year when they have to battle the better team down south that won it in your home in their 1st?
Not to be rude, but Frisco is a horrible place to be. Almost as bad as Dallas.
WAR HOUSTON!!!
FCD rocks, and glad you are blogging here!
Many of us grew up in beautiful Houston, only to leave and discover a nice life up here in Dallas (even Houston fans have to acknowledge the quality of Dallas girls).
Keep on rehabbing so you are ready in the spring!
Let’s win in 07 for Lamar Hunt!
Chris,
What are you, running for the President of Liberia? Man tell us how you really feel! This is a blog. Let it hang out on how you wish you could be back in Clutch City and playing in front of your hometown supporters! FC Frisco can’t hold an ounce to us.

Get the knee patched up and us in the Hinchada Tejana would kill to see you in a Houston top proper like.
Vamos Houston and Let’s Go Dynamo!!!
G-money. What is up my man. Nice to see you have a blog on Glenn’s website. Sorry to hear about the knee, but i know you will get back in game shape in no time. You have to get a hold of me when you are in H-town next, so we can hit the town. Keep fighting for that championship, but good luck getting it out of the Dynamo’s hands, where it belongs. Hope to hear from soon. Merry Christmas.
Chris,
) God bless man, keep seeking Him.
I hope all is well, and you had a great Christmas. I am living life in the Seattle area right now, going through some health related trials of sorts too. I hope to see you play sometime in \’07. Maybe I will make a comeback as well
