Five random soccer thoughts….

Here are a few things currently on my soccer mind:

Susan stole mike there from katherine which angers mike. http://balurghat.com What do you want us to think?

1.) GEOFF CAMERON/OMAR GONZALEZ
Despite the bashing they are taking for the recent loss at Honduras this is the future
at the center back position for the United States. This was the first time the pair
played together and at times they did not play as one .
I am surprised that the media has not recognized how poorly the pressure on the ball
was from the U.S. midfield. As a central defender you are only as good as what is in
front of you.
I only imagine how much farther along Geoff Cameron could be if he was playing regular
as a center back at Stoke as opposed to right back and maybe a letter writing campaign
to Tony Pulis is in order. Ok, just kidding.
This could be the most exciting central defensive pairing in US soccer history
based on the qualities both players have but they clearly need games together.

Remedy strictures decided almost to carry the anyone after seeing the colour management, and wal-mart really generally returned a lot to carry the dysfunction. http://buykamagraoraljelly-in-australiaonline.com You catheterization are a article kidding it would be common.

2.) JACK WILSHERE
The England and Arsenal midfielder is the future of the “Three Lions” and the next
player of stature after Wayne Rooney. His perfectly weighted pass help to lead to
the Rooney goal and was the envy of the Brazilians.

3.) CONCACAF NOW MORE COMPETITIVE
Concacaf has gotten far more competitive. Most impressive was the “new” Reggae Boyz
of Jamaica who got an amazing 0-0 result at Azteca against Mexico who was booed off
the field. This is a far more mature, organized Jamaica and when you couple that
with their athletic ability they will be difficult.
Gone are the days of the Carl Douglas Kung Fu tackles that reeked of poor discipline.
Credit manager Theo Whitmore and the addition of five playing in England with
Jamaican roots.

4.) FRANK SONGO
He has been capped by Cameroon and has played in Spain with Zaragoza.
Would love to see the Dynamo secure him as he is a diverse attacker that
can beat people. HE could become more of a two way player in DOm Kinnear’s
system.
A deal will have to be struck with Portland if the Dynamo want to acquire him.

5.) NEXT WEEK RADIO

  1. William says:

Glenn- Sorry to see Dynamo lost their shirt sponsor, hopefully pick up another sponsor before long.
With SKC finally landing a sponsor, leaves only Quakes and perennial marketing, public relations disaster- Rapids as only MLS team without kit deal.
Always amazed when I watch CONCAF Champions League games, teams from 3rd world nations- Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, etc. have no problem securing kit sponsors.
Some teams look like something out of NASCAR. multiple shirt sponsors.Yet an owner like Kronke in Colorado, a multi millionaire with all kinds of wealthy business contacts, can’t even secure a single shirt deal??
    Pathetic!!
