Dynamo hope to ink Brazilian midfielder Luiz Camargo

Dynamo manager Dominic Kinnear has identified a midfielder in Brazil whom the club is hopeful of signing.
Apparently the player has been on other trials and as per the last Soccer Matters presented by Memorial Hermann and Dynamo All Access Dominic Kinnear spoke about this player.
His signing would bring additional competition and depth in the middle of the field mainly where the Dynamo currently look set to go with Geoff Cameron and Lovel Palmer especially if the anticipated signing of Jamaican center back Jermaine Taylor goes through.

Glenn- Your buddy Onstad might have to suit up and get between the posts again.
With Hamid injured and now Cronin breaking his wrist, DCU mighty thin at keeper slot.

It is certainly an option William.

I think if there’s anything that’s abundant in the US is goalkeepers. Brad Knighton is a free agent and I think Hamid is supposed to be back in a few weeks.

Glenn, like I was saying in your show wouldn’t Vaughn and Watson maybe be plans B for the center midfield/creative spot Dom’s been meaning to fill? I think Swaby and/or Morrisey could add to the team, with the pace I have heard they have and the actual finishing ability to actually finish and put the ball in the back of the net I can see them being useful towards the Dynamo succeeding in league play and US Open Cup.

Glenn any way you can ask Dom how he is planning on using both Hunter Freeman if he thinks he’ll try him at LB so you can have both him and Kofi Sarkodie on the field but still have 2 great options at both fullback spots. Like I said they’re pretty much 2 deep right now? Is there a drop off in talent and experience in some areas? Yes but it’s a pretty nice solid bunch, the reserve league coming back like you said should do wonders for the young guys and academy products/players.

Also how does he plan on using Soto, or where does he like to play or fit in best? Out wide on the left or in the middle in a center midfield spot with a more of the creative duties to his responsibilities?
He almost seems like he could replace Davis one day if he develops into a MLS star level of Brad?

Feel free to give me your opinion where YOU might think these two guys might play, I am just curious with the season less than 5 weeks away.

Btw Glenn US got some pretty favorable groupings in the CONCACAF U17 & U20 championships. U17′s playing Cuba and Panama, they open against Cuba and the U 20′s play Suriname & Panama.

Should see these teams make the semis easily but in reality they should be going to the final and fight to win it all, only Mexico should give them a real test
