Dynamo have become more entertaining team!/ Cameron a Stoke player officially

Here are a few stats to chew on concerning the Dynamo who clearly are the hottest team in MLS ahead of their date with New York at Red Bull Arena on Friday night:

* The Dynamo are now tied for the Eastern Conference lead with Sporting KC with 40 pts, New York is second with 38 pts. Only San Jose and Real Salt Lake have more points than the Dynamo.

* They have shutout opponents in 3 straight and have 6 shutouts in their last 8 games.

*Their are 6-0-2 in their last 8 games.

* The Dynamo have now won 5 straight.

This is impressive stuff but even more interesting to me is that they have become a more interesting and entertaining team with the addition of Oscar Boniek Garcia and a system switch and the fans are noticing it.

With the move to the 4-3-3 as a starting point the wide game has also been accentuated and Mac Kandji and Calen Carr have emerged as winners in this area .
When the Dynamo were in the 4-4-2 they had difficulty getting penetration out wide which they have gotten on a regular basis as of late. Good wide play leads to more entertaining games which the Dynamo are providing regularly at BBVA Compass Stadium.
Yes it is all about results but for many diverse fans it is about entertainment, style and purpose of play to make the night complete at BBVA. Style of play does draw in fans.

How fortunate are we to have a brand new stadium, a team pushing again towards and MLS Cup and international competition in the future!

GEOFF CAMERON
Cameron has received his work permit and he is now a true full blown Stoke City player. What a moment for Cameron in his career! What a moment for MLS and the Houston Dynamo.
This now clears the way for Ricardo Clark to seamlessly move onto the Dynamo roster.

Glenn- Really weak that U.S. Open Cup Final not on a readily available network- ESPN, NBC Sports, Fox Soccer Channel. Whoever handles media, public relations for USSF should be ashamed.
Another note that really irked me- See where Chevrolet, you know the American based company that we U.S. taxpayer’s bailed out from extinction, put up$559 million to be a “corporate partner” of Man U.
Would have been good to see them have spent a tiny fraction of that cash on sponsoring an American side MLS club that’s without a shirt deal- Sporting KC, S.J., Colorado.

What do we do with three defensive midfielders? One that makes three times the money of another of our former defensive mids. Glad this is not my problem. Do not understand why we would want to wreck our chemistry when things are going good? The need for a striker to rest Bruin is something we will have to solve.
Intresting to see how we will play in the big apple.
    Go Dynamo
