The Dynamo take on a desperate for points Real Salt Lake tonite at Rio Tinto Stadium starting at 8 central on Fox Soccer Channel.
The club has re-acquired Ryan Cochrane as you all know to address their situation defensively.
A few thoughts come to mind with this move…….The Dynamo and Dominic Kinnear return a player that they are comfortable with, exit Julius James who did not progress quick enough. It also shines a light on Eddie Robinson whose knee has not responded as rapidly as he would like.
Cochrane is better positionally than Julius James and that what the Dynamo have gone for here. A mistake free defender that is dependable.
EPL UNDER WAY!
The EPL is off a running and Chelsea left it late at Stamford Bridge to get a 2-1 win over Hull while Aston Villa was shocked at home 2-0 by Wigan. Did you see these games? What are your thoughts?
Will the EPL be dominated by Manchester United and Chelsea or is this the year we see Manchester City emerge, Arsenal re-emerge? Everton? Tottenham? Tell me?

Good to have cochrane back and james packed. Even though dynamo pulled off wins against DC and Chicago, dynamo also allowed 5 goals in the two games. And I rememnber big mistakes by James leading to goals. I think the more experienced cochrane, who was part of dynamo’s championships, will provide more security in the defense.

The epl is off and running and I think MAN UTD and Chelsea will dominate epl Ronaldo or no Ronaldo. I think the Big-4 will be the Big-5 this year with man city being the other one. Tim Howard and his everton just ate 6 goals from arsenal so if the rest of the season is going to be that way for everyone, I doubt they’ll emerge from anywhere. Tottenham, I dunno. The coach doesn’t confide in gio dos Santos and there’s rumor going around that Inter from Italy is after Gio Dos Santos. So who knows. Hard to tell. Man Utd fo life!

Why does Cochrane suddenly want to play in Houston again when he left us (at his request) immediately after winning a championship? Maybe life wasn’t so bad here after all vs. not playing with a lousy expansion team!
Carlos, Sochaux lost to a fantastic Bordeaux team (they won the league title last season). Looking for video of the first goal (which has been well described). I wish somebody would rescue the French league from that wasteland call Setanta. The league itself may have overly defensive tones to it but there is still a pretty high level of football to be enjoyed.
i for one Jon enjoy the French and SPL more than the Serie A…call me crazy…
