LA CRUSHES CHIVAS USA

About ready to head to the airport but last night LA reminded us that they are still the defending MLS Cup Champions. Landon Donovan also reminded us why he is the greatest player in the history of MLS.
Donovan produced four assists and ripped apart Chivas USA in a 4-0 win.
His play with Robbie Keane was wonderful to watch and these are the two hottest strikers in MLS outside of Chris Wondolowski and Steven Lenhart in San Jose.
Without David Beckham LA showed signs of their past form finally starting their back four of last year and performances of improvement from Omar Gonzalez and Juninho in midfield were impressive as well.
LA lived up to the moment while Chivas USA did not. In fact a passive start and lack of pressure on the ball in their own half from Chivas USA in the first half was mind boggling.
LA got goals from Keane, Juninho (2), and Gonzalez.
