Defenders Waibel and Gbandi to blog at www.glenndavissoccer.com

The Soccer Hour Craig Waibel and Chris GbandiHouston Dynamo defender Craig Waibel and FC Dallas counterpart Chris Gbandi both will provide their insight in the future on www.glenndavissoccer.com
Waibel had his greatest season as a professional as a constant starter at right back as the Dynamo won the MLS Cup, the popular Waibel has become a fixture in Houston reflecting the community based nature of the Dynamo. For me Waibel should have been the “comeback player of the year” in MLS after comeback from a severe knee injury.
Gbandi who will also represent Liberia this spring in international play was voted the top defender for FC Dallas this past season and will be performing in 2007 under a new head coach in former Arsenal defender Steve Morrow.
I am excited about their involvement at www.glenndavissoccer.com because they will provide insight for young players and fans about what professional soccer life is about .
Glenn

Good job getting these guys to do blogs for you Glenn. Waibel is a great guy who is fun to be around. My favorite Dynamo memory is of him joining the fans after the Cup and dancing with all of us. He’s a great guy. Gbandi is also a great defender (who’d be a nice fit for us…) and I look forward to reading their thoughts in the coming months. Good job, Glenn.

    Naranja,
I am excited that Chris and Craig are blogging at this site. It obviously for fans and young players is great to hear what is going on in the mind of pro’s.
Both are quality guys and I consider their involvement another way of growing the sport.
Thanks for the note. Don’t forget the December 21st game for Cancer Awareness. This will be a wonderful community event.

    Glenn,

I’ll be there on the 21. It’ll be a fun day. Btw, thanks for allowing someone from the TA/EB to play in the game. That’s a great idea and a good way to bring the players and fans closer. They’re still trying to figure out who exactly will play, but it’ll be fun to watch. Anytime someone helps out the fight against Cancer, it’s always great. Can’t wait till your show later.
