Dynamo midfielder Geoff Cameron has agreed to a deal with Stoke City.
Earlier Stoke and MLS had agreed on a transfer fee for Cameron.
Cameron apparently is on a plane tonight to Orlando, Florida where Stoke is training to get a medical assessment. He will then apparently head back to Houston until his work permit is granted which is expected to occur by August 8th.
From the outside it is too bad that Cameron has not be able to participate with Stoke on their U.S. tour as to get to know his teammates before heading across the pond.

Why can’t he train with them while on US soil? Is it a legal issue, or is it fear of what happens if he gets hurt and the permit does come thru?
Sorry to hear Geoff can not train with his new team in the states. Glad to see that his soccer dreams came thru. God speed and good luck we will be watching u on tv.
