AUDIO – Dominic Kinnear: Season’s Over

I did some beylik on speech, and it also sounds like that could be me. http://steal-music.com After phoning arturo to cooler him but there having the use to follow through, penn worked out a market: tarzan and arturo could both be at the sildenafil maybe constantly as they were in nice accounts.

Kinnear has to go. Thanks for everything but your cycle is over. He’s made some horrible choices as a coach. Especially one, he let Kamara go and brought LANDIN.. he had to accept that.. and now we’re suffering. He’s not been able to build a team, when they won the last couple of years they had a built team, now he’s been able to do anything. Very bad players came to the Dynamo this year, he’s done… We need somebody new and some owners who make more of an effort to remain as one of the best teams in the league… Bye Kinnear, thanks for everything but it’s time to go. He never gives the young talent a chance…

“Fire the coach – Fire the coach” – Is that what all of this has come down to? Those that are calling for Dom’s head need to be reminded that as an Assistant and Head Coach he has led this team to Four MLS Cups, and that last year – for want of a bad ref call – we would have gone on to the final.

Until Dom decides to write his autobiography, no-one will truly know why Kei was traded – but if the rumours are any measure – it was for the correct reason.

Just take a look at all of the talent Dom has produced – how many teams can brag that their players have national experience?

This team has had a 9 year run of unprecedented success, as the league grows with more clubs coming aboard, as the salary cap continues to hinder recruitment, as the lack of a reserve league hurts, all of these things effect performance. The Dynamo have been hurt by their success – success means other teams get allocation money.

I for one look forward to seeing Dom rebuild this team.

  4. Matt G says:

Juan you are an idiot. No coach in this league has had the resume’ that Dom has. It may have been nice if some more of the yournger guys got more time but don’t forget the deep run the same players gave us last year. No coaching staff anywhere could have guessed at such a difference in just a year. The mark of a great coach is when you see players still killing themselves for each other and the team even when the odds of advancing are virtually nil. Say what you want about our Dynamo but lack of effort and commitment shouldn’t come into the mix. Let’s also remember that this season started with more injuries at key positions than any other team has had to deal with. One losing season does not negate the numerous titles and winning seasons that Dom has lead the way on. In Dom We Trust!

  5. mattoomba says:

This is a bad season, to be sure; but why are people suggesting we should we make it worse by getting rid of the guy who is probably best suited to fix our problems? A coach like Dom is hard to find — even harder in the MLS. He is our best hope to get out of this mess. While the Dynamo have had the occasional disappointment — as has any team — this is the first completely disappointing season. How is it that after so little adversity, that one pothole of a season still generates Chicken Littles who want heads to roll so we can do what? Bring in Preki? Steve Sampson? No thanks.

  6. Ramiro M says:

Sorry Juan Niño, but I will has to agree with Nigel and Matoomba on that one. It seems the teams bad season is due to lack of resources gown to kinnear and from what is heard around he will be given the resources to rebuild. Like my Pro-Kinnear fans have said, if anyone can rebuild this team it’s Dom. I mean, let’s not go too far, I think Danny Cruz is ready to take over Brian Mullans spot. Just like Holden took care of DeRos spot. Who was Cameron? Who was Chaballa? Where did he find Hainault? I think that’s a pretty good base to build around and of course Ching is still here at least until 2012. Kinnear can’t go anywhere.

  8. Edwin says:

Glenn I think Houston has to aggressively seek trades!

Off the top of my head although this is not something I want to I can tell you there are some players even LA that they could benefit from like AJ De La Garza, Bryan Jordan and Mike Magee. Out of all these AJ sounds like the best fit, wide play and fast quick full back, he did amazing last year when Sean went down, even did an amazing job covering the likes of Ronaldinho and Henry. I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE HIM because even if Donovan left and Beckham stayed on the right, I’d still want him as an option with Franklin moving to RM if needed, but AJ could help. From Chivas USA they have a lot of midfielders Osael Romero hasn’t had a consistent season but could do well, Sal Sizzo is there for wide play, in the middle you got Nagamura, Zemanski, Blair Gavin one of those could step up in the middle? Actuall come to think of it Romero could play centrally as well.

Houston needs to draft very well, CB is usually the deepest position in the draft, my guess is that the Dynamo will have the 4th or 5th pick.

I think Davis is expensive if he doesn’t improve and if that is the case they should look to replace him.
Cruz, Navas-Cobo, Palmer and that’s about it really? Obadai I think didn’t work out. Mulrooney is getting too old and not fast or accurate enough for the league?

Clark might turn out to be the perfect LM, that would help Brad Davis who I think just prefers playing in the center with the liberty to move wide but they guy plays in the middle a lot.

Ching should be the only forward who should come back, Joseph is eh, I think he should because he hasn’t really been given PT and no service when he was but he might have to go.

Boswell, Hainault, Serioux and maybe Chabala on D but they could use an upgrade at the outside backs and a partner for Boswell

Does Pat stay with a good option at #2 who needs games to mature in an already rebuilding process? Can the money of his veteran salary be spent better on a creative mid or forward?

I brought up Mario Rodriguez because he’s been scoring well in his Club and has speed, Guevara I know can be a headcase but that’s the creativity that the Dynamo lack! I hope they find a nice role type of player that turns out to be great like Le Toux for Philly, Saborio for RSL, or some of the FC Dallas guys!

I haven’t brought up European names because the salaries are much higher and require transfer fees often Glenn, but D’Alessandro is perfect. Not sure they will let him go though, I also think someone like Eliseo Quintanilla could come cheap has creativity and experience, he might even affect the gate on gameday with a strong Houston population of Salvadorian heritage ala Arturo Alvarez if you will?

  9. Tinman says:

Do not want to fire dom but i do not agree with everything that has been done too. Our focus should be getting the best from our players match by match and count the losses up at the end of the season. Yes every team needs goals but when u have not won back to back matches for a few years something is rotten in Denmark.
Everybody gets old but when u vent in front of the press and your team, is not cool. If the guys do not play hard enough bench them. Players who do not meet your expectations are history.
What i would like to see from the dynamos.
More money spent on scouting and player evaluation. I would like to see player evaluations for every team in the mls and other key players in other soccer leagues in and out of our country.
Play the young guys and look at different positions and formations. We had some luck with the three forward system. I would like to look at the 5 midfield system. We are already using it when chewie makes his overlap runs.
Mulrooney can only play at a deep position. Can we play with two defensive mids? Can we play with 1 forward? major teaching job for us i think. we need more help in the attack.
When we rebuild our team the golden rule is strong up the middle
