Spain claims title of best team ever winning Euro’s.

Spain defeated Italy 4-0 to win the European Championship.

Spanish football and this team have to be considered the greatest of all time winning the Euro’s in 2008 and 2012 plus the World Cup 2010.
Results can’t be argued and neither can the style and defining nature of the way they play the game.

Lets not forget that this team was once maligned for being underachievers.
Lets also remind ourselves that they won this tournament without a major piece in striker David Villa.

Are Spain the greatest for you?

Boniek Garcia debut a success as Dynamo defeat Union 2-1

It was a night of firsts for the Dynamo.
Designated player Oscar Boniek Garcia debuted to fanfare and produced play that has Dynamo fans excited.
The Honduran controlled the right side of the field, went box to box, found forwards with passes and excited the crowd by taking people on off the dribble and beating them.
His pass to Mac Kandji led to the first Dynamo goal from Brad Davis.

Truth be told the Dynamo started the second half less than focused and gave up a goal one minute in from Keon Daniel. The Trinidadian was allowed to turn in a pocket of space in front of goal and lashed in a great goal past Tally Hall whom barely moved.

At this point the Union then should have scored a second goal which was bungled by Lionard Pajoy.

The Dynamo in a new 4-3-3 set up would ultimately get the game winner when Brian Ching came on in the later stages. He earned a pk and then stepped to the spot.

His penalty went in off the underside of the cross-bar and Ching had produced his first ever goal at BBVA but more importantly the goal that would win the Dynamo three points. Dynamo Brad Davis who normally takes pk’s urged Ching to take it.

The rare starting point of a 4-3-3 was used by manager Dominic Kinnear and it has now opened new possibility. It worked effectively providing support in midfield to Luiz Camargo who partnered with Brad Davis as playmakers.
The ability to cover ground by using Geoff Cameron in midfield also worked for Kinnear.
Will Bruin was less effective in this system up front but in the end it helped the Dynamo re-gain their team shape, possession of the game and a better night of collective defending.
Intriguing night all around.

PREDICTIONS PLEASE
So is it Italy or Spain today in the Euro Championship final?
