There is no doubt that the European Championship semi-finals are intriguing.
Today Portugal has a legitimate chance at de-throning the current European Champions (espn 1:45).

So how could it happen?

One should expect Portugal to adopt a deep starting point defensively to deal with the sharp, pinpoint passing of Spain.
Sure, this is nothing different and others have adopted these tactics against Spain but the workmanlike midfield of Portugal could be key here against the like of Xavi, Iniesta and co. thought I do believe they must find a moments and periods to pressure the ball higher up the field.

And then there is the pace and break-out capability of Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani . Both can fly and could have the perfect platform to fly out of an over-committed Spain.

Could they get that moment on the counter-attack or through a CRonaldo free kick?
