ARTIFICIAL SURFACE FOR MLS CUP FINAL IN SEATTLE
Just another interesting tidbit. The MLS Cup final will be played on artificial surface at Qwest Field. The league inquired and was ready to to put a temporary grass surface on Qwest Field but three sod farms whom they spoke with said chances of growing grass and it taking in November in Seattle were not good. In the summer Chelsea and Barcelona both played on grass at Qwest Field and Barcelona did have a complaint about the quality. Any Aggies want to take a shot at this? So how do you feel about this?

The Revolution continued their improbable results with a 2-1 come from behind win over Chicago Shalrie Joseph gets the game winner and has been carrying this team on his shoulders. No fans at Foxboro and it definetly didn’t look like a playoff game on tv. Meanwhile LA and Chivas USA were gifting each other goals like it was Christmas and the not the best of soccer games ended at 2-2. Donovan Ricketts clearly saves LA again and if MLS coaches have not identified getting at the two center backs Omar Gonzalez and Greg Berhalter on the ground and for pace then they have not been paying attention.
Ricketts has saved this team on countless occasions this year and did it again today. Bruce Arena made a great pick-up with the other Donovan who has hidden deficiency.
No clear favorites in the playoffs for me………..
