Kamara returns to Robertson….

Former Dynamo Kei Kamara returns to play against the Houston Dynamo tomorrow at 2pm at Robertson Stadium.
Kei left the Dynamo on unhappy terms and was not particularly fond of landing in KC which he made pretty clear.
So how motivated will he be tonite and will he be able to control his emotions?
Just another footnote to an important MLS match. I will preview it tomorrow so check back to glenndavissoccer.com

It is amazing how many Americans are now involved in over-seas investment in soccer.
Malcolm Glazer at Manchester United and Stan Kroenke at Arsenal are two that come initially to mind.
Enter Dallas based entrepreneur who is interested in trying to purchase Bari in Italy.
Barton had signed a pre-liminary agreement that fell apart on Thursday from the Matarrese family that has controlled the club for 32 years and
hopes to continue negotiations with the family after the season and says Bari remains in his heart .
He became interested in Bari apparently while working on green energy opportunities in Southern Italy. His company JMJ investments acquires, develops , manages and advises luxury assets around the world in the real estate sector.
One thing to note on this is that Barton had sought a 60 day dely to complete due diligence on the initial deal. When the initial payment of $1.46 million dollars did not come through at the end of September the Matarrese family called off the deal.

Now back to Kroencke whose team is a non-entity in Denver yet he continues to invest in Arsenal. Too bad that he doesn’t seem to care about the Rapids.
All great if they make the playoffs and Conor Casey wins the golden boot….but what does it really matter if nobody goes to games or cares about the team.
A market of real concern….and their are others. I did mention that I would love to see FC Dallas make the playoffs. I would also like to see them be more relevant in their community.
