Here is some footage of George Best scoring an incredible goal in the NASL for SAN JOSE against the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers.
So it all is playing out. Here is the scenario. JAVIER AGUIRRE is on the sideline ready to inherit the role of MEXICAN NATIONAL TEAM coach once SVENGALI-GORAN ERICKSON slips up.
Could that slip up just be a few mere days away on February 11th ? If ERICKSON gets beat by the United States in Columbus, Ohio it might just be time for those “crazy, fun loving guys” at the Mexican Soccer Federation to pull the plug on the “silver fox” and bring back Aguirre who can restore some pride to “EL TRI”.
Remember AGUIRRE was the manager when the U.S. beat Mexico in the round of 16 at the 2002 World Cup.
So what do you think? Is Aguirre next in line and will he take over in Concacaf World Cup qualifying for Mexico?

KEEP IT IN PERSPECTIVE
I am getting emails about FELIX GARCIA and how much Dynamo fans should expect to see from him in the coming season. Lets not forget that this young man is only 18 years of age and has spent his entire life in South Texas.
Like top youth players that leave our area to play in college there is the ever important ability to mature while going to a new and different place. Think of the adjustment for players out of college also to make the grade in MLS….It truly is not easy. So before anyone begins to think this is a player that will contribute right away, score goals and light the Dynamo world on fire …..well just put on the brakes and take a reality check. At 18 years of age, this is a young man that will need time to mature, adjust and understand the next level not only on the field but off the field…………I can remember my first 6 months in college and I can personally tell you it was a major adjustment just like making the jump to professional soccer was from the college environment. …….Every year some youth players leave Houston highly touted and have a hard time adjusting to college. It is human nature when one is moved out of their indigenous environment that some adapt better than others.
Remember that FELIX GARCIA is a young man moving from a comfortable world sourrounded by family heading into a man’s world.
