Just a bummer because he has the potential , and Wondolowski and Brown are worthless, unless you consider running around for 20 minutes productive. should have cut both of them. Why hasnt kpene played at all imean his finishing cant be mush worse than wondo and he is at least fast and would add a speed element.

Franco made too much $$ for the production he was giving. If he made less we'd have more time to be patient. The second F signing I heard we are "efforting" will make most fans forget Franco, and I think will be a strong enough threesome rotation at F (along with Brian and Nate) to get us deep in the playoffs again.

The chemistry will definitely be better with Jaqua, whose height also trumps Caraccio's abilities. Caraccio had a certain beauty to his game, but not, it seems to me, the killer instinct. I believe Houston, though not the most talented, is one of the most mentally tough teams in the league. It was precisely this aspect that Caraccio lacked. I did, however, enjoy it when he scored a goal earlier in the season, took off his shirt, jumped up on a table and began waving his shirt to the crowd as though he had just won the world cup.
I thought the Dynamo played Chivas with great discipline considering they were without De Rosario and Ching. In fact, they lost on the play they lost their discipline and passed straight to a Chivas defender, who relayed the pass to the gamebreaker. With Jaqua, De Rosario, and Ching coming back on the momentum of two strong games by Houston--I'm EXCITED!!

I hate to say it, but if Franco had knocked in that header against Chivas, he may have bought himself a little more time. Perhaps, his release will be the best move for all parties in the long run. He's still a very young player with good qualities. There's no doubt in my mind that he'll succeed somewhere else.

It a shame. The kid played a very good game against Chivas. I thought he had turned the corner. If it is true about Red Bull's interest, he could be an interesting fit. I think MLS should try to hold onto this kid.
