See you tonite….
So Manchester United win the EPL title with a 2-0 win over Wigan. How ironic is it that Ryan Giggs scores…..amazing career.
Fulham avoid relegation with their fourth win in five games amazingly while Reading and Birmingham go down on goal difference…Rumor has it now that they could be handed a place in the qualifying round for next season’s UEFA Cup as reward for their success in the European Fair Play League…..who would have thought that would happen just a few month ago?
Give me your take on the weekend’s games in both Europe and MLS.

Great that “Team USA” avoided relegation.
I know there is not a lot of interest here, but a great story in the Czech Republic where Slavia Prague were 4 points behind Sparta 2 weeks ago. Sparta choked in the last 2 games, and Slavia is now up by 2 going into the final week. This is a league that supplies a lot of players to the “major” European leagues. Also, the Czechs will be a major contender for the World Cup.

Glenn,
Glad to see Fulham stay in the Premier League. It is a good thing for some of the Americans, but we are forgetting that both Bobby Convey and Marcus Hannehman of Reading, and Eddie Lewis and Benny Feilhaber of Reading are being relegated.
I want to know what you think about the comments made by Newcastle Boss, Kevin Keegan, where he basically said that they would hope to be 5th next year, and that teams cannot compete with the top 4 of the Premier League, unless an owner came in and just spent a ridiculous amount of money. Is it good for a league, when only four teams have a realistic shot of winning the league?

Glenn — The Bellaire Flying Eagles are taking five teams to England at the end of July to participate in an Arsenal-sponsored tournament.
If you go to Soccer-4-All in Rice Village you can see an autographed Arsenal shirt on display, with 23 team signatures, including Arsene Wenger’s, which is being raffled to raise money for the trip.
It is very rare that Arsenal sign and distribute shirts like this so we are very privileged to have the shirt from one of the top soccer teams in the world! 22 of the first team players and the Arsenal Manager have signed the shirt, and it comes with an authenticity certificate and it has been framed.
The raffle tickets are $10 each. An autographed shirt like this has a high street value so even if you don’t support Arsenal a $10 investment could be repaid many times over!
