My thoughts on last night’s game. The first half was all Dynamo, although they had the same problem as before, finishing! Caraccio and Ching do not play well together. Caraccio is all over the field and many times is not around the box where you would like to see him. I don’t know how many long passes from the back forward was made last night and most of them never connected. It seems the Dynamo wanted to push the ball forward regardless of whether it connected or not. The second half was another story. I’m sure the heat had something to do with it but it looked to me like the Orange were slow, lethargic, couldn’t finish simple passes and their overall play was not good. Cummings, on the other hand, is a player, fast and ran around the Dynamo defenders. When Ianni came in, it appeared he had a better handle on Cummings. I feel some of the players have lost a step. The Orange need to get faster on the wings. If they win in Chicago next week, well I will have to change my story. But based on last night’s game, I am not very optimistic about their chances against the Fire. I hope I am wrong.

ATX…this is a blog..not a newspaper article…loosen up…Finally we got a win…Caraccio and Boswell didn’t score as I predicted but both had good games over all…finally Ching got that pressure off his back…Hope this helps him…and his team..and us ultimately..Im off to check my Fantasy MLS scores…see you all Monday…:)

FINALLY! Alright now we can get on with this season. Good to see Ching and DeRo score even if the goals were gift wrapped and delivered with a pretty bow.

ATX, come on loosen up already. Ok, started watching the LA-NY game. This is a very exciting game, I see LA coming back strong in the second half. Very good atmosphere at HDC, very offensive, wide open. I love this style - the Phoenix Suns of MLS. It sure beats an RSL game.

Tonight is not spelled “tonite.” It’s hard to take someone seriously as a journalist if such a simple word is persistently misspelled. It lacks professionalism.
