Does the drama get any better? I think not.
Two goals from German Michael Ballack was enough to get Chelsea a home win over Manchester United and pull even in the race for the Premier League title. Ballack scored in the 45th minute and an 86th minute penalty after a hand ball from Michael Carrick.
Wayne Rooney scored the lone United goal in the 57th minute who elected not to start Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez whom presumably were being saved for Tuesday’s Champions League second leg against Barcelona at Old Trafford.
Ballack also picked up a yellow card after revealing a t shirt that said “Pat Lampard RIP” which was a tribute to Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard’s mother who passed away on Thursday after pneumonia.
United also lost Nemanja Vidic with a facial injury after a clash with Didier Drogba……..Your thoughts on this exciting classic.

It is amazing that everyone wrote Chelsea off after Mourinho was sacked and now look. Chelsea is level on points with Man United and are just 90 minutes from playing in the Champions League Final. I guess Avram Grant is not as bas as everyone claims he is.
Chelsea played some of their best football all season in the first half and were unlucky not to be up by more than one. After the Rooney goal, Chelsea picked up the pace and were rewarded with the victory.
Man U fans want to claim that they lost because Ronaldo and Tevez was not on the field, or that the referee bought Drogba\’s dives, or that the handling call in the area was not handling. They are WRONG, WRONG, WRONG Glenn. The referee bought some of Drogba\’s dives, but he also bought Ronaldo\’s diving once he entered the match. It is ugly soccer and needs to be stopped, but yesterday, what was good for the goose was also good for the gander. The handling was legit. Michael Carrick was a hack yesterday and he got caught with his hands out.
Message to Man U fans: How does it feel to have the tables turned? If I remember reading a Alex Ferguson interview, he claimed the Man U never surround the official because it is disrespectful to the game. Was it just me or did I see Man U players berate both the center official and the assistant referee after the penalty was called, and didn\’t I see Rio Ferdinand and Owen Hargeaves surrounding the official in stoppage time. Pot, I think the kettle is calling you black.
Chelsea outworked Man U. Chelsea out played Man U, and Chelsea got the points. Now the pressure is squarely on the shoulders of Sir Alex and the rest of the Man U boys. If you slip this week, there is a chance that you can have this great season tarnished by not winning a single trophy. How great would that be!
Up the Blues! Chelsea til I Die, and Glenn, Blue truly is the Colour!

It was a draining match, alot of back and forths…. Being a die hard Red I can man up to the fact we were beat by chelsea far and square. I havent been able to clearly see the hand ball but from what Ive heard it was clear seeing that his hand wasnt be his side so things like that happen and its fair seeing that it happened in our favor twice in 3 weeks.
Secondly……how about Anderson? He had a hell of a game, he kept the ball in motion and was the the only driving force in the United attack. Nani wouldnt stop flopping or being called offsides….it needs to stop and he looks like Ronaldo when he goes into full on sulk mode.
Come on you Reds!
