Glen,

First off I know this isn't the correct page for this question so I will apolagize in advance and Don't get to listen to your weekly show on the radio so I have to get my fix through the podcast, so I am never able to call in. Can you explain to me why the monetary rights to players belong to the league and not the club? I would think a easy way for the league to allow clubs to go out and spend some money is to allow the clubs to own the players rights and when a transfer is completed the club can take that money and spend it on adding players that wouldn't count against the cap. Just a thought, I just don't like the idea that the MLS gets the money that these clubs deserve for training and bringing these kids up, and never hear anything about where they use this money they recieve (maybe it all goes to LA since they seem to try and set them up as much as possible) all joking aside would like to hear your thoughts?
