The semi-finals are set in La Liga de Mexico:
Santos Laguna vs. UNAM Pumas
Chivas vs. Atlante
These teams all had successful seasons and finished at or near the top of their group .
So who is the favorite to take the Mexican league title and why?

Santos Laguna is the class of the league. That attack with Ludeuña and Vuoso is unstoppable.

Well I have to say that I don\’t follow Mexican soccer too much but I do have Mexican friends that do and while their support varies from Chivas to Pumas to Pachuca, they all seem to agree that Santos Laguna is playing great soccer and seem to be the favorites. What does concern me though is who the Dynamo might be playing in the Champions Cup and we will have no repeat of last year\’s loss to Pachuca!

Champions Cup is always going to be a challenge for the Dynamo just based on pre-season and where Mexican league teams are at the time.
The ability to ultimate beat Mexican league teams in a home and home series (which means winning in Mexico) will come down to if the league is willing to put more money into the various MLS Clubs.
To win in Mexico takes more than eleven players and most MLS teams do not have the proper depth.
This is fact.
Santos, I am in agreement with Marco, watched Vuoso score yesterday against Morelia.

Wow, Santos went from being a horrible team to one of the elites in Mexico. Simply amazing.
I’m very excited about Champions Cup, even though it is going to be difficult to attain one of the top 3 spots at tournament’s end.
Chivas could pull an upset, but it probably won’t happen.
