In their abscence John Cunliffe who played division 2 soccer at Ft. Lewis and hails from Bolton, England produced two goals to add to a 30 yard blast from Paolo Nagamura.
Chivas USA who has a game in hand on the Dynamo nearly were tied late in the game when Yura Movsisyan hit the crossbar.
It might have been wishful thinking for RSL to help out the Dynamo but the wet conditions plus artificial surface combined with Chivas’s abscence of stars might have made one hopeful.
The Dynamo need to beat LA this Sunday and will move Richard Mulrooney in to the holding midfield role and bring on Craig Waibel to deal with Landon Donovan and the Galaxy who are in a must win situation as is Colorado tomorrow against Toronto FC.
The Dynamo will field a big physical lineup with Waibel and Jacqua and will look to jump on LA early.

Why does finding a suitable goalkeeper still haunt England? Robinson for me is not a goalkeeper that could win a game for England if needed.
