A very tight, tough game. I left thinking that, sure there was a clear miscommunication between Cap and Wells, but that, truth be told, Pat Onstad would have gathered that ball in. This is the second or third time this season I have seen Wells, who I have to admit looked great a few times last night, lose his grip on a ball like that. Last night, his team paid for it.

I definitely liked to see the boys coming to the defense of their captain both on DDR\'s and Mullan\'s yellows. DeRo got away with a red card offense, but the fire and passion were great to see, as always, from this team.

I think with the amazing defensive ability Dynamo have displayed in games against solid and skillful Mexican sides, the Orange should be well-positioned for games back in MLS. I worry about the effects of a long season, but right now, I don\'t think there\'s an MLS side that can touch them, especially at Jeppesen (dating myself there!). Here\'s hoping for another happy November!

First goal so soon changed the nature of the game. Dynamo seem to play back, rest leggs, hold the lead. Were close to pulling it off. Should be stronger for the DC match.

I liked the game, without taking anything away from Dynamo, we must understand that Morelia (so the other mexican teams) were in the break between the last season (3 months ago) until now, the next season is about to start next week. Morelia has being almost rebuilding the team, with 5-6 new players, most of them playing yesterday in the starting lineup, also a new system (new coach), so I\'d like to think that they\'re not at their best right now, however I do think the Dynamo is a great team, IMO the best of the MLS (not just because is the current champ) and yes, even if it hurts a little bit (I\'m from Morelia), they\'re better than my team right now. Problaby scoring so early in the game hurt them more that help them (Dynamo), the relaxed

Difficult game to watch. The midfield was not as good as against CA, just a little flat it seemed. The mistake in the back was horrible. I do not think Morelia was going to figure out the defence without that gift. Still, the goal was probably too early. It took Morelia out of their bunker from the start.

Finally, Morelia was attacking often with long diagonals while the Dynamo kept trying vertical passes over the top. I wonder if some geometry lessons are in order. The margin of error is sooo small with the balls we are trying to play. Morelia looked better than CA, but I\'m still not impressed with any of the MFL sides to this point. The diving and gamesmanship is at least in midseason form....

My thoughts:

1. Stuart Holden is the real deal
2. I feel bad for Wade Barrett, he is rock solid and one mistake and it was so costly
3. Morelia players have more skill but the excellent marking, physical play, and aggressive attacking poised the Dynamo for victory... if only for a lack of finishing...
4. Will Ngwenya ever win a 50/50 ball?
5. I\'m not sure why Robinson was pulled but I think it saved a fight. With his physicalness, as chippy as the game was becoming, I\'m sure it would have led to something...
6. Is it me or does De Rosario lose the ball on the dribble an awful lot?
7. The Dynamo are an exciting, fun to team to watch. I like their chances in SuperLiga & MLS Cup!

The pushing and shoving became the highlights of the game for me. Again the Dynamo seem to forget how to finish. For all those chances they created they should be scoring more than 1 goal a match.
Monarcas and Chivas look like the only mexican clubs putting their effort in this lil tournement.
I personally will be at Toyota Park rooting for Club America, tie or win for the Aguilas will automatically send HOU and DC to next round. I personally look fwd to a CCC rematch.

gift miscommunication goal for Monarcas from Wells and Barrett could prove as big as the blown offsides call against Goodson. Hopefully NOT

If Pachuca beats Chivas and LA ties FCDallas (very likely), how would a three way tie be resolved? What about DC and Houston tying and Morelia losing? We could see two 3 way ties in both groups. What are the tiebreakers?
