With Dwayne DeRosario off to the Gold Cup with Canada the Dynamo will face FC Dallas in the 1-45 rivalry match this Sunday at Robertson Stadium without their leading scorer. It has not been the best of starts for DeRosario who despite scoring against DC United this past weekend was limited due to DC midfield tactics.
So without the talented DeRosario what is the Dynamo and Dominic Kinnear to do in midfield this weekend?
Here are a few choices so take your pick or add your own:
A.) Move Brad Davis in a central role and use either Cory Ashe or Stuart Holden wide. (Note: Ashe has produced wide in a reserve role which is completely different than doing a 90 minute job.) For me most likely what will happen.
B.) Straight swap with Holden playing the attacking midfield role (his natural position) and giving him the chance to prove himself out over 90 minutes.
C.) Put Richard Mulrooney in a duel holding midfield role with Ricardo Clark and find replacement at right back .
D.) change tactics completely and go with three strikers just to get more players in and around the penalty area at smaller Robertson Stadium.

Soccer fans on another note please check out the Dynamo Soccer Report tonite at 6pm on Channel 55. Interesting highlights of Pachuca, David Beckham, Celtic and the the Dynamo visit to the White House with the President. Also comprehensive highlights of the Dynamo 2-1 loss at DC and a look at FC Dallas. (awesome highlight of Dario Sala caught off his line and a long range goal from Ante Razov.) Also plan a trip to Baytown and El Toro restaurant next week for an on location version of the Dynamo Power Hour . Would love to see you there!
