More incentive for Dynamo

Filed under: Uncategorized — glenndavis @ 4:28 pm

The Dynamo are no strangers to being behind, all you have to do is look back to last season in the playoffs against Chivas USA, Colorado, and in the final against New England. All come from behind wins. They will have to do the same this Thursday in College Station against Puntarenas of Costa Rica who hold a 1-0 lead.
But now they have even more incentive. If they can advance into the semi-finals of the Concacaf Champions Cup they will take on Pachuca of (provided they get past Marquense of Guatemala) the current Copa Sudamerica Champions. The home leg would be played at Robertson Stadium on Wednesday March 14th at 7:30 PM.

  1. The Dynamo have a well of emotions and experiences to draw upon. No one likes being down, but I’m not sure any team gets back up like the Dynamo. We’ll be there doing our part, getting LOUD. Our guys always play well at home and obviously feed off of our enthusiasm. I’m looking forward to a great game.

  2. They definetly showed an amazing ability to come from behind last year in the playoffs.
Here is hoping for advancement and another shot in the arm for MLS.
There training was lively this week and they seem prepared to bring a better performance.
    It will start with possession.
    Thanks for the post Jeremy.

  3. Pachuca won 1-0, they won 2-0 the first game so they are in with a 3-0.

Chivas won 3-0, they lost the first game 2-1, so Chivas won 4-2.

Dallas is in, there is no way they will not go to the next stage, we are only waiting for the 4th team, which has to be the “orange clockwork”.
