Rene, I am a huge fan of the Mr. Clean chants at the games. It fires me up because we all want our own cheer…one that is done just for us……thousands of fans cheering for me! I can take that all day long. You keep bringing the noise up there and I’ll keep bringing it down on the field! And the answer to why I came into the crowd after winning the MLS Cup…..just read my answer above. The Houston crowd gave me more than I ever imagined last year. I couldn’t wait to get up there and share all the smiles.
Oh yeah, I only shave my head on game days.
El Naranja I want more money. I like getting ‘popular players’ over here, but we still have a developmental team players making $800 per month. Personally, I think it is disappointing to see them paying so much when the average salary in the league hovers around $75,000. Remember that is the average which means there are quite a few guys making less than that when you take into account how much the DP’s are making. And finally Evan-I like that Beckham is coming. I hope he brings his “A” game to the states. I am a fan like the rest except when playing against him. I applaud him for getting the money. It is not his fault for earning his check. About the tackle on him……….I’ve never stepped out of a challenge prior to now regardless of the opponent so that one is up to him. Thanks for the questions and keep them coming.

I almost got thrown over the railing by the crowd trying to get down there to celebrate with you when you came over after winning the cup, but it would have been worth it if I had fallen. That was such a great day.

omigosh craig your so awesome =D… you became my favorite when i first saw you in san jose back in 03, and i loved watching you improve over the years. I was so depressed when you went down with a season ending injury in 05, you were playing your best soccer to that date. But to see you come back & play your best ever, it was so inspiring you should write a book, but heres my question.
Last season in houston, you scored a career high of 5 goals, how did it feel achieving such career high #\’s? & how did you feel when you recorded your first 2 goal game? and do you have myspace
Love,
Taylor

Here\’s hoping that the day will come soon when the min is $75K for MLS. I hope things are going great for you guys in Orlando. Ching has started his blogging again as well and has a hilarious blog about room arrangements over there.

In case you haven\’t gotten it or read it. Funny stuff. Glad to know that you guys are enjoying the Florida sun. It\’s been cold back here at home.
Here\’s my question: A lot of the fans in MLS see you guys as being the favorites against Puntarenas (and I hope so!). With Pachuca starting their CONCACAF game soon, how closely will you guys be watching them? Are you just going to worry about that when it comes, or will you keep an eye on them (maybe watch the game?). When you guys get past Costa Rica, it\’ll be time for the big guns of Mexico to come to town…
Btw, everyone is excited that Chivas lost to WC 2-1. Think it\’s possible for DC United to advance and meet you guys in an all MLS CONCACAF Final? How cool would that be!?!
