The Dynamo are Costa Rica bound for the first leg of their Concacaf Champions Cup.
The game is scheduled to be played Feb 20-22 and the second leg will be played in Houston between February 27- March 1 at a site to be determined.
The draw which occurred this past Friday also saw DC United get placed with Olimpia of Honduras.
Goltv will carry the Puntarenas/Olimpia UNCAF match next Wednesday if you want to see what both the Dynamo and DC United’s opponents look like.
Ironically Puntarenas also wears orange as their primary color.

Im rooting for the Dynamo to get to the final.
As Winner: We go to the Club World Championship and get international exposure for MLS.
As Runner-Up: We get access to Copa Sudamericana where we face tough competition and the chance to play elite teams from South America.
Can’t wait for 2007!

David,
What a unique opportunity to be a supporter in MLS with your team playing in meaningful international competition. Looking forward to this.
This also brings up the issue of a need for a stadium as the Dynamo are struggling for a venue to play this game at home. Robertson would have been the perfect answer to less than ideal conditions for Dominic Kinnear on short notice to prepare his team.
Thanks for the post.
Glenn
